Proceeds to benefit Girls on the Run of Atlanta & Atlanta Youth Soccer Association

Girls on the Run of Atlanta and Atlanta Youth Soccer are excited to host the 2008 WonderGirl 5K.  Formerly KIDS UNPLUGGED, this 5K event kicks off the start of a new race series benefitting Girls on the Run of Atlanta (GOTR) and the Atlanta Youth Soccer Association (AYSA). Last year’s 5K brought together 750 runners from all over greater Atlanta, and we anticipate over 1,000 participants to join the fun this year. The mission of the WonderGirl 5K is to bring together Atlanta communities to promote healthy life choices and build self-esteem through the goal setting activity of running/walking a 5K.

GOTR and AYSA invite you to support this event by becoming a WonderGirl sponsor. Your sponsorship allows us to deliver powerful, fitness-focused programs to youth in the metro-Atlanta area.

Our commitment to you, the sponsor, is to host a professional, high quality event that cultivates community spirit and educational opportunities, as well as reaches and educates prospective consumers about products and services.

A financial partnership with the WonderGirl race series offers you a unique opportunity to promote your brand to an enthusiastic family audience, while supporting a worthy cause. Sponsor’s promotional materials will be distributed to approximately 5,000 past and present supporter of AYSA and GOTR and to the current parents, coaches and volunteers involved with both of these well-known organizations. AYSA currently provides coaching and training for 83 youth teams and GOTR of Atlanta serves six counties and over 500 participants each season.
